2011 was a truly unforgettable year. I wanted to take a few minutes to reflect on it and remember some of the up’s and downs that made it what it was. Photography wise, I am really happy with where things are headed. I have continued working hard at shooting more editorial work based outside of Seattle (Popular Mechanics, Bloomberg Businessweek, Self-Titled, Wallpaper*,Kinfolk, ELLE, Rolling Stone) and beginning to enter the commercial world with my amazing new rep Maria Bianco. No matter what im shooting for work, I tried to always making time for personal projects (Portraits Of Seattle Series) and everyday snap shots. Traveling was a huge part of last year. Assisting my good friend Jake Stangel in Alaska, going to Sayulita, Mexico as well as doing my first big round of Photo Editor meetings in NYC were all unforgettable. Life wise, things were a bit of a roller coaster but I’m feeling great in my current place & am so thankful for all the supportive friends/family that have been around me all year.
