Portraits Of Seattle #9 Christian Sorensen Hansen
Christian Sorensen Hansen creates images you will not soon forget. Although hes a young guy, he is quickly becoming one of the busiest Cinematographers/Directors in this city. I originally met Christian on the set of MTV’s $5 Cover Seattle. Since then, I have seen his work popping up all over including Music Videos, Short Film’s, and even some still photography. He chooses projects...

Howard Petrella has created many of my favorite fashion images and is one of my biggest inspirations in that field of photography. Although Seattle is not considered a “hub” of fashion photography Howard has helped shape some of the biggest fashion brand’s we have and know from here. He...

Portraits Of Seattle #6 FENCES
Christopher Mansfield is the man behind the FENCES music. I have known Chris for quite some-time now. We originally met early in 2007 when his then roommates suggested we do some photos together. I was just starting to shoot musicians and we both felt like the shoot was a good fit. Over the next few years Chris and I had our ups and downs. Regardless of what happened in our friendship I always...

Portraits Of Seattle #5 Ben Kasulke
The first time I met Ben I was a little intimidated (No, not from his hair). I had recently graduated from The Art Institute of Seattle for Video Production with dreams of becoming a Director of Photography and hadn’t worked on any feature length projects. My old Editing teacher Lynn Shelton was making her first feature film “We Go Way Back” and Ben was the DP (Shooting it on...

Portraits Of Seattle #3 Charlie Schuck
Charlie Schuck is never short on great ideas. Although I originally wanted him in this series because of his photography, I have since learned his genius goes beyond photos. Having recently re-modeled his studio, Charlie used the space to throw the first of a re-occurring event entitled OBJECT (Will be open again December 17th). A curated pop up store of sorts, working with designers/friends...

Inspiration Day: Library Of Congress
Wanted to share the best new Flickr Contact Ive made in awhile. If you like nerding out on historic American images and actually learning a bit about them Id highly suggest the add. The Library Of Congress is constantly adding archival photos in a pretty high resolution. I lost about an hour last night going through only a portion of what they have online.

Keep it Light Weekend from rosario oddo on Vimeo. Our friend Rosario Oddo who is currently visiting from Chile has been around our photo-group a lot lately. I saw her taking a few video clips here and there but didn’t realize she was gonna throw together a little edited video about our Group’s first Photo-Show. I’m so glad there is some documentation of such a fun night.
